This lager poured a clear light yellow colour with a minimal head. What there is of a head is bright white. Scents include corn, soda water, dough and salt. Fist sip was very watery with corn and dough flavours most prodominant. Finish is very lightly hoppy with the corn flavour lingering.

66cl bottle from Carrefour Express, Firenze. Pours pale golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with notes of cooked vegetables, hints of grass and ripe fruits. Moderate sweet with mild grainy aroma and light bitterness. Watery and boring, but somewhat refreshing on a hot day.

Bottle, 33 cl, Restaurang Gränden, Malmö. A standard lager, no peculiar signs.

Clear yellow golden color with large pored foam that decays quickly. Light malty typical lager smell. The taste is malty and also typical lager alike. Not too good, but relatively cheap.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2015 Tastes like fresh Heineken steeped in sweet cream canned corn. Let’s face it this does the pale lager shtick really well: sweet corn meets ball sweat meets no hops meets sugar aged in arm pits meets a complete hate for life meets an unhappy ending. My local LCBO stocks this like its going out of style & yet ignores great imports & local releases. Yes, it’s Heineken with four extra spoons of sugar. Kill me.

Bottle via a friend. Pours a pale yellow gold color with a medium sized white head. The typical grainy, corn, grass, crap you get out of most pale lagers, no reason to ever revisit.

It lacks everything a good pilsner should have. Malt is too dominant, not in a pleasant way where the malt sweetened by a fresh taste of cereals, but in a strange synthetic shape as specific tastes of the addition of artificial sweetener. Hop bitterness seems too miss. It is an almost anonymous and very discreet hoppy bitterness that far from its too sweet expression. Foam is almost a disaster which starts volcano-like with big beautiful roaring foam, which unfortunately then disappears completely and leaves a flat appearance lager standing back. If you can abstract from its too sweet level, so it is very easy to drink. The only good thing is that you can drink this beer very quickly and forget it again even faster.
