Pour on tap, dark reddish brown pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of cocoa, coffee, coffee grounds into a bit of vanilla, hints of caramel into a bit of caramel, slight earthy tones. Taste was a mix of earth, grain, touch of caramel into a bit of toffee, coffee comes in with espresso, finishing slightly dry.

12oz bottle, poured into a shaker. The aroma is a mellow chocolate malt and a touch stronger note of coffee beans. The dark brown beer is topped by an off white, dense head that retains a medium ring and leaves a moderate, light lace. The taste is a decent balance between muted notes of medium sweet and medium bitter. The fizzy carbonation helps to thin out the slick, medium bodied beer. The beer contains flavors of coffee and cooked molasses, and finishes with spice. The aftertaste is mostly clean with mild coffee notes.

Solid brown darker pour with supreme clarity and a tan head a half inch high. Delicious bold coffee aroma, leaning sweet or the right amount of bitter. Decent body and average carbonation, finishes clean. Taste of coffee, toffee, cream and sweeter chocolate, very full and good.

This morning I had a coffee because it was too early for beer.... This evening I had a coffee because.... Oh wait this is a beer... And itís delicious. This is a lot of coffee. Itís pretty much just coffee, but balanced and refreshing and delicious..... Itís pretty much the polar opposite of coffee...... I donít know what this is, but it is delicious. This might be the first beer I order 2 of in a row...

Just about all coffee in aroma and taste. Server warned me to drink it last in my four beer flight...because I wouldnít be able to taste anything else after tasting it.

A solid brown ale with coffee added. Looks like a pint of cold brewed folgers. Tastes better thankfully. Smooth drinkability.
