This is a very good brew. Tons of citrus and light floral hops notes, well balanced with the malts too. Pours a light orangey amber with a thick, porous and sticky off white head. The aroma has tons of citrus fruits, grapefruit and light pine. Not too sweet up front with mild caramel notes. Very well done with tons of fruity citrus notes. Moderate bitterness is in balance.

Bomber. Mostly clear medium orange copper, fading off-white foam, Juicy citrus forest fruity hop aroma and taste, nice smooth toasty caramel malts, faintly floral, very flavourful. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, well hopped. Persephone continues to impress. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

Appearance: clear pale amber with two fingers of rocky ivory head, good retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Aroma: big citrus, pine, caramel, light floral and tropical fruit. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderately strong bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, pleasant bitter finish. (4/5) I have to admit I’m still quite fuzzy on the distinction between APA and IPA. I mean, this is a decent brew on its own merits regardless of what you call it, and it could easily stack up against any number of IPAs I’ve had. Pleasantly hoppy, nice citrus and associated notes, and just enough malt to balance, But, d’ya know what sticks out about this one for me? The “farm fresh” label inside the cap when they don’t DATE THE DAMN BOTTLE. (OK, fine, it tasted fresh, happy? I still want a date.) (15/20)

650ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a generous white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is big citrus with some hints of pine and caramel. Taste is a bold citrus and pine hop bitterness with a light caramel malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, this is a well crafted pale ale that is balanced and tastes great. Recommended.

Wow, a great APA! Big citrus nose right from popping the lid. Clear dark amber pour with a huge foamy white head and respectable lacing. Flavour of hops, both citrus and bittering hops. Nice malty backbone, also has a nice mellow grassiness and some jasmine/floral notes.

Lasting white foamy head atop an orange body. Very orange concentrate mixed with light pine resin. Extremely tasty. Purchased at Penny Farthing in Oak Bay for around $6.29.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Light orangey-brown with off-white head. Mild pine and grapefruit hops, subtle toasted biscuit malt. Good, but a little subdued overall.

Ceci est le citra. Une grande bière d’agrumes fraîches. Jaune pale avec un col moyen stable. L’arôme et le goût déborde d’agrumes. Un peu du malt pale au début puis plein d’houblon.

On tap @ Alibi Room. Listed as Citra Hopped, but it seems this is the correct place for this...even though it looks like a gosh dang amber ale. Amber pour with a thick white head. Super orange and grapefruit forward nose. Fairly malty, though. A lot of caramel and toasted bread. Hints of pineapple and pine. Flavor is only mildly sweet and malty. A touch of tea and otherwise the grapefruit dominates. Tons of pine and orange zest, too. Decent bitterness. Subtle peach and tropical
