3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark opaque brown colour with frothy pale brown head. Not so rich in aroma but vague tones of rye bread, caramel and licorice. At 6,8% the mouthfeel is medium. Dark flavour in general but not pronounced - we have sweet malt, little toast and tad chocolate. Soft mouthfeel with subtle acidity from the toast malts. Pretty ok beer with no bitterness.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl.
Appearance - like a glass of cola, a red chink but mostly dark brown with no head.
Nose - more brown sugar than chocolate.
Taste - more brown sugar again.
Palate - thin for the alcohol and basically it tastes like a very badly made Belgian. Cloying and then thin.
Overall - does not reflect the style at all but I suppose it’s solid in some ways.

Sampled with omhper, tiggmtl, MartinT, muzzlehatch, and Rastacouere in Montreal. Thanks to Per for this kick-ass bottle. The bottle is so cool. I’m going to give it a +1 for appearance for the Martian bottle. I will send the picture of the bottle in shortly. Beer has DMS aroma with slightly sweet malts and roasty undertones as well. Amber garnet ctransparent mahogany color with a yellowish tan head. Sweet start, chocolatey, malty and smooth. An enjoyable baltic porter.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
God uansett.

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle - 500ml. Dark brown body with instant-fading beige bubbly head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with sweet and roasty hints. Taste is quite thin and finish barely detectable. Very disappointing Strong Beer.

Bottle, 50 cl, at Papsø’s. Clear dark red brown with a small off white head. Nose of bread, dark fruit, sweet malt. Taste is sweet much the same, very clean, but a little uninspiring. Very light bitter finish. Softly carbonated.

Radekfest ’05 (thanks Josh). Pours almost black with a nice head. Aroma is rich in roasted malts. Taste is slightly hoppy with some caramel and chocolate. Taste is sweet but not over the top. Refreshing.
