Variegated muddy brown color, scant white head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is very bitter up front, and unbalanced, lacing a malt backbone, but also lacking the usual wheat characteristics. Drain pour.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy copper with a thin beige head and a nondescript aroma. It’s pretty bitter for a wheat beer, but has a fairly hearty treacle-like flavor.
