This one pours with about a finger of foam and is a clear, coppery color. The head does not stick around for long though. The aroma is somewhat malty. In the taste, I am getting some corn and then some butterscotch tones. I’m not sure what I think of this one. It is okay. Nothing to write home about. The body is pretty light and the carbonation is leaning towards high.

Aug 2, 2008 This is a very solid dark beer. Not too thick and not too watered down. Straub puts out a good product.

Jul 15, 2008 Pours a nice copper color, tons of carbonation, very little head retention. Really smells of corn. Sweet, not unpleasent taste and zero hop bitterness/aroma. An alright beer for the price, more flavorful then the regular straub.

Jul 5, 2008 has a nice little roast caramel malt aroma to it, body is a little thin, but a pleasent roast malt flavor to it.
