Not much to say here. An utterly dull lager characterized by an absence of taste and flavor. Medium head.

Green apple-ish, sweet, vegetal macro lager aroma. Light flavor: Green apple is pretty dominant. Some sweetness; no malt flavor otherwise. Low bitterness... Some of the macro lager flavor, too. Seems like pretty low carbonation, and thereís a subtle but weird "chalky" kind of feel.

Apparently this beer used to be made in Holland but is now made in Germany and distributed through Holland. Any way you look at it, itís cheap lager, a decent 5% beer to pour down your throat in the summer. Smells of grass and sweet malt. Golden appearance with a short lived white head. Taste is medium sweet and lightly bitter. I donít sense the metallic taste. Mouth feel is light, soft, watery, and creamy. Not bad for the price at Trader Joeís, and cans are convenient.

Gold Yellow Color, Good Head, Some Lacing. Sweet Corn, Light Bitter Finish. Watery. Bland And Boring but is drinkable 6thirst quencher. OK for what it is.

So, my rating might be skewed by the great affordability. Then again, I toned it down intentionally so my rating might be accurate. Trader Joeís special! 6-pack for $5.49 for 16 ouncers! I mean, this beer screams lawnmower, but I have no lawn, just an unquenchable thirst. And when it gets hot, and I look at my wallet (or cold and I look at my wallet), those white cans call me name. And hey, they are cans so you can take the where bottles are not allowed!

Peterís Brand has a thick, slightly off-white head, a clear, bubbly, deep golden appearance, and a heavy lacing sheen left behind on the glass. The aroma is of pungent, buttery, malt, and the flavor is of sweet, biscuit-like malt, grassy hops, and subdued sugars. Bitterness is appropriate. Mouthfeel is tending towards light and watery, and Peterís Brand finishes mostly dry, refreshing, and enjoyable. For a private label brand (and, for beer in general) this is a good one. RJT

500 ml can. Clear gold with a small ring of bubbles. Faint aroma of soured corn, grass, citrus and honey. Taste is the same with some spice, metal, and toasted corn husk. Light body is sweet and has medium carbonation.

Canned. Poured clear, bright golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up honey and toasted grains with light grassy accents.. nothing really good going on. The flavor found tangy, metallic notes on the tip of the tongue.. honey and corn sweetness followed.. a bit sour on the quasi-refreshing finish. Light-bodied and metallic on the palate.. not really offensive, but hard to like.

Can. Poured clear pale color with a medium frothy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. soft to moderate floral hop and grain aroma. Soft to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer.
