Appearance: rich gold hue. Clear. Generous white head fades in sticky patches both on sides of glass and on top. Slow trickle of bubbles from bottom to top.
Nose: husked grains leading into lemon skin, lemon zest, and an overall brisk character. Slight dryness. Italian bread crust, extra crispy and golden.
Palate: medium body and very smooth mouthfeel. Breads underneath and in the finish with lemon up front. Brisk and full of business from first quaff to last. Grows softer with each quaff; fresh loaves of Italian bread, the insides still steaming. Crunchy crust in the background. Lemon skin underneath.
Final Thoughts: overall, not too shabby of a lager/pilsner. Despite my hate/love relationship with InBev, for a mass produced canned *see above* I found her to be rather pleasing. More on the bready then hoppy side, not that far off from authentic Dutch variants such as Zywiec.

Not a great pilsner, but far better than your standard pale lager. Bright golden color and long lasting white head. Well carbonated. Lager yeast. You know it is a pils, but just barely.

Toasted aroma. Gold colour with small white head. Medium body, fizzy Light malts with a dry bitter finish. Mediocre pilsener.

Metalchopz (2372) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 16, 2010
Purchased on my trip to Nashville in a one pint can. Pours a clean golden colour with a white head. Foamy with decent retention and very dirty lacing. Very light carbonation. Fresh grain scent with nice pils hop. Good bitterness with grass notes and some mild grain. Not a bad Euro lager with a nice creamy mouthfeel and pretty refreshing.

Pours pale gold with a medium head. Aroma is sweet and slightly adjunct-laden, mils floral noble hops make a brief appearance. Flavor is sweet and malty at the start, the middle falls flat with a watery and mild section, slowly interrupted by hop pepper, and a light, slightly grassy finish. Not horrid, but nothing to write home about.

16 ounce can from Trader Joe’s Glen Allen, VA. Pours a crystal clear pale gold color with a large fizzy white head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma of grass, corn and hay. Taste is watery, grainy, some grass and slightly metallic. One of the most watery and tasteless beers I’ve ever had. Thin. Watery. Watery and thin. Good thing too as I’m thirsty. Glad it was only a buck.

Pours clear light yellow with a large sudsy white head. The aroma is very light with pale malt, corn, cracker and light, if any, hop presence. The body is light, crisp and biting with frothy carbonation. The flavor starts with the aroma traits, but is a bit spicier with a hint more of hops. Okay beer.

16oz can. Filtered thin yellow-orange color with a pretty massive white head. Classic Euro-Pils aroma, a little dough and brewhouse in the aroma. Some soapy crispness up front leads to a sweet malty body. Light bodied and pretty bland, still a small notch above your BMC swill.

Big can. Yellow. Sweet and very malty nose. Flavor is the same. Very sweet. Caramel malt and some light hops. Bad.

drjay44 (2709) - Salida, Colorado, USA - OCT 14, 2009
16 oz. can. Pours a white head, over a yellow (SRM 4) body....nose of light biscuit, bit of hop spice.....taste of slightly sweet malts, with a light bitter finish....mouth feel light and watery, carbonation light. Done as a tasting of this beer, 3 Horses and Oranjeboom. This was the weakest. It has little of the characteristics of a Pilsener, malts are wrong, hops are wrong. It is sort of yellow, fizzy slightly flavored water.
