3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 GG (1980) - NorCal, California, USA - AUG 28, 2010
12oz bottle -
Aroma - piney nose, slightly metallic, kinda smells like some pine needles soaked in isopropyl alcohol
Appearance - golden yellow/orange hazy body, huge, fluffy merengue-like head that left behind stickly, clumpy lacing. Medium-large sized bubbles clining to the glass.
Taste - nice bitterness, sweetness is nearly non-existent here giving a nice dry finish. Herbaceous, with a light astringent angle which I enjoyed.
Palate - medium bodied, medium bitter finish, nice level of carbonation
Overall - very nice pale ale any which way you slice it. I would have enjoyed just a tad more sweetness in the flavor but very enjoyable nonetheless.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 RobertDale (1886) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - AUG 25, 2010
12 ounce bottle from Beer of the Month Club. Light amber with a small biege head. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Tastes of hops with some malt sweetness. Balanced well.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 sthlm (1227) - Iowa, USA - AUG 19, 2010
[Bottle] Pours orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is floral, sweet, a little vegetal...kind of odd. Taste is stale malt with vegtal notes showing through again, along with alcohol (poorly hidden), and mild bitterness. Good mouthfeel, fairly short finish. Overall, a pretty poor beer that I disliked more the longer I drank it.

TampaBrew shared this one. Pours clear orange-gold with a white head. Nose is malt, orange, citrus, and a few detectable hops. Flavor is malt, some diacetyl, butterscotch, and caramel. Light bodied and so-so overall.
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Odde (305) - Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 5, 2010
Copper color. The pine and caramel notes lingering about were quickly overridden by the bitterness, astringency and light metallic off-notes. Taxing.

Beer of the month club selection. A bit yeasty smelling and nice bitterness. Good all around but not going crazy over it. Serving: Bottle
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 coolpop (1163) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - AUG 4, 2010
Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a large off white head. Aroma is sweetish, doughy caramel malt and floral, citrusy hops. Flavor follows aroma, with a faint smokiness (!) and a long bitter finish. Palate is medium and a bit fizzy. Pretty decent APA.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 RasterMaster (257) - , Oklahoma, USA - JUL 26, 2010
Hazy orange-copper pour into thin bubbly off-white head that quickly dissipates into a ring of melting lacing and a pool of foam in the center of the glass as carbonated bubbles rise from a collection of yeasty sediment at the bottom. Aroma of malty grapefruit and yeasty biscuits. Initial flavor of bitter grapefruit citrus and yeasty buttermilk biscuits that slowly fades into a bitter piney hop finish.

Bottle. Orange-yellow pour with a white head. Funky nose that wasn’t too appealing. Malt and citrus on taste.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 agillespie81 (315) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 9, 2010
Aroma - basic floral, faint citrus, somewhat yeasty;
Appearance - hazy copper, slightly opaque, thick fluffy head, decent lacing;
Taste - fruity front, yeast-filled back, finish has a good hop bite;
Palate - pretty smooth for the style, good body;
Overall - nice in certain areas though poorly put together, shoddy effort.
