UPDATED: JAN 4, 2009 Fantastic beer that has a flavor to back up it’s image. Typically, as a goth person, one wants something other than wine, and this is it. It is a Microbrew that you can easily impress your friends with when ordering drinks at a bar or pub and is mostly likely worth whatever they charge.

Poured an attractive reddish/brown color with slightly off-white head that diminished quickly. Aroma was of dark fruit, yeast, and caramel. Taste was very much the same with also maybe a slight hint of chocolate. Mouthfeel/body is medium. Very smooth and highly drinkable.

they call this a brown ale?! i think not... i’d call it more of a lager, or something along those lines, love the taste.

Not to bad of a brown ale. Its got a little depth to it with a touch of complexity. Taste weakly of carmel malts and hops. Refreshing to the end. Bought a six pack of this one time and wasn’t disapointed.

Malty sweet nose. Clear rich copper/brown color, light head. Cola sweetness, slight toastiness, subtle bitterness, but provides just the right amount for this beer. Bubbly, light-bodied, but nice mouth feel. Solid easy drinking beer, has a little more going on than a typical Brown Ale.

This is an ok beer. What happened to Pete’s beers? They used to be ok, now they seem to be nowhere around. Amber colored beer, malty, some hops. Not bad.

I must say I am a sucker for a decent brown. As often as I have seen this beer, never tried it until tonight as it was the best option at the evening’s restaurant. Pours a reddish brown, fairly light, with little head. Aroma is mainly english yeasty fruitiness. Flavor of caramel, slight apples with a hint of chocolate. Very smooth and drinkable. Not too bad.
