Pours a reddish brown with a medium off-white head. Crappy lemony aftertaste totally ruins what is an ok mouthfeel and taste to start.

Dark reddish brown with a medium off-white head. Light malt aroma. A dull nutty flavor. Smooth on the palate, nice mouth feel.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2006 Nothing to write home about, but I’d have another. Very drinkable with a simple sweet malty flavor with minor and unoffensive hops. Appearance was red-brown with little head and just about no lacing. Nothing to bash or praise, and I found this to be just above average.

On tap at Summit’s in Snellville, GA and served in a pint glass with the Pete’s Wicked ale logo on it. I got to keep the glass. The beer was a dark brownish color with amber highlights. The head was foamy white and well supported by the carbonation and left some decent lacing. There was almost no aroma, but the taste was fruity and malty.

Bottle. Nice rusty color with good carbonation and a thick diminishing off-white bubbly head. Boring malty/hoppy aroma that carries some CO2 notes. Taste also lacks character and complexity. Leaves a short bittersweet finish. Disappointing.

Dark copper brown with a small fleeting head. Medium dull aroma. Touch nutty. A hint of sourness in the finish, but doesn’t really tast infected. Tastes like it could be old, but it was a fresh keg from the distributor at a beer festival.

This beer pours a dark brown with a medium tan head that dissapates quickly. Has a very nutty smell and flavor. Not verry complex, but a smooth beer nonetheless. I do like this beer, but there are so many better beers out there. Cheers!

Bottle. Reddish brown pour with a large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Light toasted malt aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Moderate sweet malty flavor with a short finish. Below average, but drinkable.
