A golden red ale with a tan head. Aroma is fruity and a little sweet. Tastes much like it smells plus very smooth. Very good.

One of the first micros I ever had, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. The chocolatey malt is the most noticeable characteristic of this brew, with the hops providing even more sweetness (and a little bite). Good stuff.

Yeasty aroma. Peanut butter, apples, and medium-roasted malts seem to manage most of the flavor category. The palate is a bit cidery, and I feel this style should provide more of a medium body. Ultimately, it’s crisp and refreshing, finishes clean with a small malty-sweet/hop-bitter linger. Burps like woodchuck granny smith but with seltzer water replacing the sugar.

Great golden brown color. Very strong, distinct flavor. Overall, a little mild for a brown ale but has a pretty good taste. Have liked other Pete’s beers and this is one I would buy again.

It’s good to know they sell these by the 12 at my grocery store. Very solid brew with a nice malty smell. When you take a sip, it’s decently malty and more bitter than you expect at the finish. Oh, and the ruby-brown color is attractive.
