2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2011 On first glance of the title and label, youíd expect this beer to have a strong sugary strawberry taste. On the fist sip though, itís clear this beer still tastes like beer (a relief). The strawberry taste is very more subtle than youíd expect, with a mild but pleasant strawberry aftertaste that can still be tasted while enjoying other foods, making this beer a nice complement to food. The strawberry flavor is "natural" according to the label.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
bottle. Picked this up from the singles door at work solely because I knew it was being DQíd. Hey, this was a widely popular brew, so this was for educational purposes. Pours actually a nice looking rich gold, with minimal gray head. Aroma is pretty much dominated by strawberry, although I donít know how natural it is, it kind of has a strawberry syrup smell to it. Flavor is pretty light in body, featuring a somewhat crisp hop profile and strawberries throughout, intensifying on finish although nowhere near as intense as they are in aroma. Out of the bottle this wouldnít be horrible on a hot day, in a glass the strawberry syrup aroma reminds me more of eating pancakes at ihop.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear gold color, with a decent head. Light, crisp, and with a definite fruity taste. Very refreshing - good for a hot day!

2.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Golden pour from bottle with a medium white head. Aroma is massive strawberries. Taste is weak strawberry and kind of fizzy. Not awful, but certainly not one of your better fruit beers.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear gold, with a white head. Typical lager with strawberry notes. I like it better than some fruit beers because the strawberry isnít too over-powering. Smooth and fairly drinkable, a slight thumbs up.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear gold, a slow stream of bubbles makes their way up to the surface where they form a thin bubbly collar. Soft strawberries and cream make for an enticing first impression as we brush noses. There is a soft sherbet/sorbet essence to her strawberries and cream which complements the additional presence of tangerine and orange cream. A decent nose leads me into yet another watery unimpressive first impression. Her flavorful nose definitely does not translate to her flavorless palate. After a few more sips I finally dredge up faint esters of strawberry, orange, and cream that disappear almost faster than I can take them in. Weak in the front with zero finish, what little flavor I find flittering around like a lost child is wholly in the middle of her watery palate. A few more sips and she wisely gives up the ghost.
Again, unimpressive, though better than Peteís Wicked which isnít saying much. Overall, if you crave strawberries and cream you are better off finding the real deal at your local specialty dessert shop.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Aroma is of strawberry and bubblegum. Pours clear golden with little head and no lacing. Flavor is dominated by sweet strawberry. Has its place but not up my alley. My girlfriend loves this beer.

1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours clear golden with a light head. Aroma is artificial strawberry, which also ruins the flavor. Quite horrible.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
12 oz Bottle. Itís been years since I had it, had to try again. Iím not a big fan of lagers anymore.....Poured a clear amber with an average white head that diminished slowly. Moderate sweet strawberry aroma. Light to medium body. Light sweet strawberry flavor with a small tart finish. Below average infused lager.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours deep gold with thin white head and some lacing. Strawberry aroma masks others that may be lurking in the background. Balanced taste, though strawberry flavor seems a bit off to me.
