Pale gold with white head. Natural lemon flavor and some citrus hops. One of Pete's best. This beer tastes great cold--the perfect summer beer, just right for relaxing after mowing the lawn.

Interesting brew we have here. The natural lemon is very good and gives just a hint of citrus flavor to offset the hops. The bottle i tried was older and didnt exactly sample it in the summer....soo im hoping too this upcomming one, and hopefully change my rating on the grounds of a fresher more timely bottle.

This beer is a catastrophe....the lemon taste is revolting and the carbonation is way overdone...not a good job by the usually consistent pete's

Pours a light amber with an off-white head. Lemony smell with a slight hop finish.

Nice, light, refreshing, hot summer day type of brew. Definitely a hint of lemon makes it nice and refreshing.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden amber pour, with a slightly off-white head, diminishing with a slight bit of lace. A lemon, peach(?) and hoppy smell. Overall light body, with a smooth mouthfeel, but a sour aftertaste. A good summer beer, but not an award winner to me.

I bought this as a discount price, because it is no longer summer.Dark gold in color. Thick head. Lemon and floral smell. moderately bitter. THis is a pretty good summer brew. Time for another one.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A summer brew that is a little too light in the flavor department. Light grain tastes and some moderate citric bitterness. Bland and fizzy. Sam Adams Summer Ale is a bit better than this.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark golden colour with a dense white head and trillions of small bubbles rising from the bottom. Decent aroma-malt predominant, light hop background and a subtle citrus twang. Light-bodied; Sweet flavour, citrus feeling with a velvety texture. Aftertaste is more malty than hoppy, but left mild. Overall, a decent beer, but nothing great. I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York and sampled it on 17-October-2003.

Not too bad. A little bit citrusy. Definite lemon flavor for the lightness of summer. Haven't tasted it since I was a senior in high school though.
