4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Have had this a few dozen times but yet to rate it, always the go to at Cane Rosso as it comes in a larger glass that at other establishments. It is rather strong and you know it as the alcohol is not hidden like he does with the Wintervention. Smells great, pours a beautiful dark red. Love it.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear dark amber with a thin beige head. The aroma is a bit thin but contains a bit of boozy crystal malt and piney hop resin. The taste is nice and strong though, with big heavy earthy caratoffee sweetness, a strong booze ester, and a bitter leafy pine resin that really comes out on the finish.

On tap at a bar in Dallas, but I canít remember the name of the bar. Pretty good, creamy. Definitely feels heavy, you can feel the relatively high ABV. Nice beer.

On tap at Meddlesome Moth Dallas. Pours a clear amber with a small white head and great lacing. Hoppy, caramelly, grassy, somewhat floral, bready, piney, and doughy aroma. Taste is bready, caramelly, grassy, floral, piney, sticky malt, light roast, and weed with a big bitter finish. Sticky mouthfeel with high carbonation. Pretty tasty

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Smells a bit soapy, not quite as strong as Clorox, more Irish Springy I suppose. Chemical, yet not awful. Toasted malt, bitter / spoiled hops at the end. Dry as hell. I guess this works for some people but it's definitely not for me.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hoppy nose with some caramel. Medium amber with a little bit of cloudiness, Taste is spicy with caramel, not overly hoppy at first but the hops build quite a bit with this beer. Itís bitter finish is as much alcohol as hops. I think Iíd like this beer much much more if the abv was less aggressive. Good stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(Draught) cloudy medium deep amber, fine creamy ran edge bubbles. Nose is very piney, agave, herbal, light caramel, perhaps too much pine and not enough caramel. Taste of light bitterness that isnít as piney, caramel, lightly toasty, rich, estery more in the nose but a bit in the finish too. Well carbonated and spicy finish likely from the high abv. Smooth overall though.
