Sample. Pours blond/golden with no head. Good legs. Aroma is of apples, barnyard. Taste is of apples, some funk/barnyard, tartness, acidity, some sugar. Palate: Medium body. No carbonation. Overall: Very nice. Barnyard/funk is quite welcome. Outstanding. I was not expecting this.

4 oz sample. Clear gold pour with an evvvver so slightest you can imagine pinkish hue, pretty far from bright pink. Aroma is fruity, lots of things going on, berries, light winey notes, grapes, blueberries, some light funk, musky at times. Taste is sweet with a light tartness, quite winey, floral notes, tons of berries. Palate is med-light bodied. Wasn’t quite sure at first but this drink offers some nice complexity and remains quite drinkable. Nice.

pours unclear yellow, pink tint, with some sticky legs. leathery bandaid bretts; sweet, floral and fragrant red apples, raspberries and strawberries, astringent and spicy woodsiness, brown sugar in apple sauce, honey, hint of tartness - imparted by both apples and funky microflora, i suppose. flat carbonation - few tiny bubbles though; medium body - oily; sweet, very lightly tart and astringent spicy finish. intentionally contaminated or not, i clearly enjoyed!

Pours a clear golden and completely still. Swirling the glass leaves some good legs. Nose is of apple juice for sure but also a little funky. Someone below mentionned "medecinal" and I can totally see what he means. Taste is lightly sweet and juicy, like drinking some natural apple juice. Slight bandaid. Light alcohol. Body is medium, medium-full and not really sticky but richer than your usual cider. Good.

4 oz from bottle (750 ml) bought @ Les Vergers Petit & Fils.

Appearance: Clear golden with pinkish-salmon hues and small alcohol legs.

Aroma: Mild and delicate nose with geneva apples, light sweetness notes and floral presence.

Taste: Light sweetness and mild acidic presence with geneva apples, floral notes, a touch of alcohol and herbal notes.

Palate: Medium body. Ample mouthfeel. Floral finish.

Overall: Good still Rosé. The geneva apples gives some mild but nice acidic features. Well balanced. Easy drinking despite the abv.

(Rating #4713)
