Dull orangey-copper, no real head. Perfumey, hoppy, bretty aroma. Light body. Hints of perfume, hop. Shades of its bigger brother, but that’s still not bad. Still, not enough malt to keep things going.

Light amber color; generous creamy head, incredible lace.
The classic Orval aroma, hoppy, herbal, almost spicy.
Weak body strength; less bitter and dry than <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ShowBeer.asp?BeerID=1 Dorée, but much better hop character, difficult to describe as it is unique, easy to define as it is Orval !!.
Absolutely drinkable; wonderful style, I love it. Thanks Jacob.

Clear amber with medium white fluffy head. Brett aroma with fruity notes. Dry flavor with brett, fruits, hops and a bitter finish.

Bottle at London Gathering Nov 05. Funny. I didn’t particularly like Orval when I first had it, and I didn’t particularly like this either. Perhaps it will grow on me. Copper colour with thick tight beige head. Slightly sour, marmalade aroma. Bit thin in mouth. Overly carbonated and the flavours were all a bit watery

Yellow golden, not much head. Citrusy, horse blanket nose - watered Orval aroma. Citrusy, lemony, weak little brother of Orval. Add enough water to normal Orval and you have this one.

Hazy orange color, heavy ashtray aroma, light weak taste, light watery body, light dry finish. Orval with water in it.

A Mes rate: What a treat! Every single bit what I hoped it would be. A downable and mellow Orval. It’s never going to be a huge scorer but it’s a fantastic beer and at 3.5% perfectly sessionable. I WWWWISH!

Bottle. [thank you so much, dedollewaitor!]
Pours lightly muddy copper with a small, bubbly, creamy, off-white head. Quite sweet aroma, some flowers, herbs, light brett. Highish, prickly carbonation, a tad watery palate. Flavour is surprisingly nice, very dry, brett, flowers. Some peppery notes in the finish. Refreshing.
