Can in Jordan. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of malt and alcohol. Taste of sweet malt with some alcohol. Hops are hardly noticable. Not much bitterness. I didnít think that this was drinkable, but it was. Better than expected from a 10% ABV light lager.

Had this one in Jordan on holiday, poured from a can. Just like the 8% Petra quickly poured it through the drain. Same as 8%, but even worse. Golden colored. Very alcoholic, big time. Malty sweetness, bad cheap ingredients. Lotís of carbonation. Smells like an alcoholic bum who you can smell from a block away. Aaargh.

bottle, brought from my friend wimpie133 from JordaniŽ. (Nice to try some very rare beers in Belgium). But I know why they donít import this beer! Metalic, stinking beer. Just so bad!

Can, 50 cl. Dark golden to amber beer with small white head. Aroma of alcohol, and malts, giving a sweet smell to it. The taste is worse than the Petra 8: there was only adjusted some alcohol to the beer to make it stronger and thatís it. The result is a strong alcohol taste, surrounded by malts and sweetness, without any pallets. If there were some subtleties in the Petra 8, then they are all ruined by the alcohol in the Petra 10.

500 ml can. From Jordan. Thanks Arto!
Dark golden colour with small white head. Sweet malty aroma with soda like sweetness and some alcohol. Lots of alcohol in flavour. Some malt and soda like sweetness too. No good.

Copper color; initially it has a reasonably nice head. The aroma surprisingly features some nice malt. It has a medium body strength, just slightly oily; sweetish malt flavor; when cold, it seems to be drinkable, but as soon as it gets warmer, the alcohol presence becomes unbereable. Cheater.

Special for sentimental reasons. Shared this with my son -- our first ever beer together -- a few days after his 18th birthday. And in Petra, Jordan yet (he accompanied me on a business trip there). A perfectly passable lager beer -- exactly what you need in the summer in a country as hot as Jordan...

Can. Thanks David K for bringing me this from Jordan. Clear golden-colored beer with a small white head. Not much in the aroma but it has some cereal grains and surprisingly no alcohol at all. Flavor is sweetish with some slightly husky graininess and a rather strong alcohol presence that attacks your palate on the first sip, but later gets milder. Medium-bodied, alcohol makes it feels a bit heavier. This one doesnít have too much of either aroma of flavor, but it is very clean and really not too offensive.
