2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 lAlpedHuez (11) - Brookville Hollow, New Jersey, USA - JAN 13, 2009
Special for sentimental reasons. Shared this with my son -- our first ever beer together -- a few days after his 18th birthday. And in Petra, Jordan yet (he accompanied me on a business trip there).
A perfectly passable lager beer -- exactly what you need in the summer in a country as hot as Jordan...
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Gr0ve (2037) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 24, 2012
500 ml can. Pale golden crystal clear. Small white fine-laced head. Papery floral hops. Slightly sweet. Smooth texture. Rather dull, but could have been a lot worse.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Toerstig (43) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - APR 3, 2013
Klar gyllene med vitt skum. Maltig spannmål i doft. Eldig, spannmål utan direkt beska. Spritig eftersmak. Rätt trist alkoholig dussinlager.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 MaartenRF10 (1170) - Wageningen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 15, 2012
Mostly like the 8% variant of this beer. Strong, alcoholic, low-bodied, artificial, but still drinkable and not as bad as other ratings suggest.
1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2009
Can Copper color; initially it has a reasonably nice head. The aroma surprisingly features some nice malt. It has a medium body strength, just slightly oily; sweetish malt flavor; when cold, it seems to be drinkable, but as soon as it gets warmer, the alcohol presence becomes unbereable. Cheater.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Lowenbrau (997) - Asturias, Oviedo, SPAIN - MAY 4, 2012
500ml can. Malt and herbal aromas. Pours pale gold, poor head and lacework. Light body, average carbonation. Taste is sweet. Not bad for a country with not beer (or any alcoholic beverage) tradition like Jordan, but nothing remarkable for this one.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 visionthing (1624) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 17, 2012
Can in Jordan. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of malt and alcohol. Taste of sweet malt with some alcohol. Hops are hardly noticable. Not much bitterness. I didn’t think that this was drinkable, but it was. Better than expected from a 10% ABV light lager.

500 ml can in Amman, Jordan. Pours a clear gold color with a white head. Some fruit in the aroma. Palate is bland, very alcoholic taste little hop or malt at all.
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 rosenbergh (4650) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 28, 2010
500 ml can. From Jordan. Thanks Arto!
Dark golden colour with small white head.
Sweet malty aroma with soda like sweetness and some alcohol.
Lots of alcohol in flavour. Some malt and soda like sweetness too.
No good.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 DSG (3926) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 5, 2008
Can. Thanks David K for bringing me this from Jordan. Clear golden-colored beer with a small white head. Not much in the aroma but it has some cereal grains and surprisingly no alcohol at all. Flavor is sweetish with some slightly husky graininess and a rather strong alcohol presence that attacks your palate on the first sip, but later gets milder. Medium-bodied, alcohol makes it feels a bit heavier. This one doesn’t have too much of either aroma of flavor, but it is very clean and really not too offensive.
