I tried this a long time ago, not knowing it was a flemish sour, and not really knowing too much of what that means, so now i’m excited to give it another shot! The aroma is sour, acidic, yet sweet. Pours blonde with no head. Oh yea thats good. Funky sourness up front, tingling your mouth, then very smooth sweet finish, almost no aftertaste, very clean.

Funky,old blanket smell with not a lot else going on. Flavor was much better then I was expecting.Love that weird sour spoiled yeast. Not a lot of fruit or anything,just a wild sourness.

Bottle. Poured a light-amber, with some reddish hints. Small bubbly head. Aroma was fruity sweet, sour and some woodiness. Flavor was a bit tart (but nice), a little sweet (not much), a little yeasty, something earthy/grassy and a little malt. Very refreshing. Nicely balanced. Tasty.

Thin frothy white head of fine bubbles. Sweet oaky aroma with some stinky feet, white grapes and tart apples. Color is a medium golden apple juice. Dry acidic and tart. Fizzy in the mouth and makes the salivation glands kick into high gear. More tart apples and white grape. Little oak. Very dry and puckering finish with a little lingering sweetness. A decent flemish sour ale. Although these are not really my style.

Clear pale amber with a foamy white head. Tart/sour apple aroma, white vinegar, very acidic. Very tart taste. A good example of a style I’m not fond of but will give it credit.

Solid. Not the best Ive had in the style, but solid. Pours an awesome orange straw color, with rich velvety white head. Light malts provide the background for the nose. Also in there is Brett, grassy notes, and some light green grapes. Leather belt in there as well. Taste is a blast of pale malts and some funky wild yeast. rather sweet for the style, but not overly so, balances out the tartness well. Maybe some vanilla in the finish. Pretty good.

Bottle. Delirium cafe, Brussel. Great citric and acidic cellar notes, like gueuze, in the nose; woody, fruity, some horseblanket and barnyard. Sourrish, woody, cherries and citric acidity in the flavour(funky? yes!). Finishes tart, dry and fruity. Just great!

excellent..orangish, amber pour with no head..aroma is very flemish in nature, and consists of light apricot and peach notes, with the usual vinegar and wine...flavor starts off with these such flemish characteristics, and finishes very lambic (gueze) like....very sour, dry, and somewhat bitter finish...nice palate, and an excellent and unique brew

Bottle code 38643. Can anyone decipher this? Pours a clear pale into my Rodenbach glass. Big, fizzy white head, quickly fading, crazy lacing. Aroma is heavy horse blanket, barny, some lacto, light vinegar, chardonnay, some oak. Flavor starts out sour, with a nice hit in the side of the jaws. Yogurt, lemon, pineapple, plenty of bretta-funk, and again I’m reminded of a very dry chardonnay, some honey and just a touch of sweetness comes in midway though to ease up on the tartness. A bit of cheeries and peaches at the end to round out the flavor nicely. Medium/light body with a tart, tannic finish. Wow.

This golden ale poured with a modest lacy white head, eliciting a vinegar aroma. The flavor is sweet/tart, somewhat like a good lambic, with an acidic mouthfeel.
