33 cl. bottle. Served at cellar temperature. Pours a lasting white head, with attractive lacing, over a very slightly hazy, golden (SRM 5) body.....nose is sour apple, light barnyard, sour grape, perhaps a tinge of vanilla.....taste is sharp acetic sour, with apple tones, finishing with lighter fruit sourness....mouth feel is medium, carbonation also. This is quite delicious, and refreshing. It is delightfully sour and filled with funk and character. BJCP 7/3/15/4/7

Bottle; Pour is a straw yellow with an average white head. Aromas are lemon peel, funk, spices, and oak. Flavors share these elements, but I find also an astringent quality to this brew. It was the clear loser at the sour tasting, but I wonder though if the bottle was going south.

Tap @ Beveridge Place Pub. Clear gold-orange pour with a brief white head leaving a moderate lace. Sour nose with a hint of sweet malt. Medium-light body with apple, white grape and lemon juice/zest notes. Some pepper and cinnamon spiciness in the nose and middle, but it’s very mild. The oak comes through lightly in the middle and finish and there is also a light sweetness in the finish. There is also a very late metallic tinge.

12 oz bottle enjoyed on a Sunday afternoon from Lush (Chicago, IL). Pours a well hazed murky golden hue, some darker brightness, well carbonated, with a moderate bright white hazy ead that dies to thicker film, clings to the edges with decent lacing. Aromas are a nice bouquet of lactic acid, lemons and grapes with oaky tannins, a touch of white wine, touches of funk and dust, pale malts provide some bready malt, sour wheat, base but the lingering acidity and fruity sourness stay on the nose with some apple. Initial is light bodied, sweeter than anticipated with bread and pale malts, some lemon, grapes, light to decent sourness, wet oaky tannins, lemonade, touches of lactic acid, light dryness towards the backend. Touches of apple and grape, lighter tartness but lingers. Bit bland overall, a touch metallic as I get further in. Simple overall, but bready and pale malts, sour wheat makes it feel a bit Berliner-esque, but still off. Light bodied, lighter to decent sourness, ok
