Pours a crystal clear, medium golden body with a creamy, off-white head that leaves a decent amount of lacing on the glass. Sweet, sour and strong aroma of sweet fruits and white wine vinegar. Strong flavour of acidic and tart fruit, red berries, white wine vinegar and faint caramel. Light to moderate sweet taste with a moderate acidic long-lasting finish. Mid-bodied, dry and moderate carbonation. A very nice one, even for a rater that doesn’t usually like vinegary ales that well.

Lys gylden og helt gjennomsiktig. Lavt skum. Aroma av mild edikk. Smaken er sur, edikk. Jeg klarer ikke identifisere andre smaker da surheten overdøver. Tørr, med tynn konsistens.

Very tart/sour beer but not overwhelming. Crisp finish. Tasted similar to a sour candy.

Golden straw color, cider aroma with a hint of incense-like wide yeast funk in the background. Incredibly balanced taste - sour but not puckeringly so, dry but not astringent, barnyard funk is present but not overwhelming. Body is light, on the thin side, as it should be. This is a pleasant, easy-drinking beer.

Pours hazy straw with a short loose foamy head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, spotty lacing. (3/5) Nose is mild barnyard funk, cidery apple, woody and vinous notes. (8/10) Taste is mild sweet, moderate tart, mild funk. (7/10) Light body, moderate to low carbonation, dry tart funky finish. (4/5) An extremely well-behaved sour/oude bruin that would probably make a great introductory beer for those interested in expanding their horizons to include sours. The taste is actually nowhere near as sour as the aroma would suggest - to the point where I was actually a little disappointed (but a neophyte might be relieved). Pleasant cider and vinous notes are present, and it continues to open up as it warms. The sweetness is quite restrained and the finish moderately dry, make this a very nice sipper. (15/20)

Bottle (12oz $4.50): Pale golden color. Smallish head. Very sour, but not much sweetness. Funky aroma. Not bad.

Bottle 33cl. Slightly hazy pale amber, a lot small bubbles, small frothy off-white head, diminishes slowly to a thick layer that stays, good lacing; sour geuze-like nose, vinegar, wood, manure; rather mild medium sour en light sweet taste, unripe gooseberry; medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, finish fresh sweetsour, hint of bitterness, bit wood; great beer.
