Tasted from a 12oz bottle purchased at Lush Roscoe. Pours a clear pale orange with a huge white head that quickly recedes to a thick lace collar with spotty lace on the beer. The nose is sour citrus with a good amount of brett funk and sour berry (both cherry and raspberry) with a bit of light malt as well. The flavor features the berries a little more than I expected with the sour citrus and the addition of apple cider vinegar and a nice, almost nutty, malt flavor. The body is medium with lively carbonation and a very long sour berry finish.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Bright gold pour with a white head. Sour, fruity aromas. Peach, pear and green apple in there. A slight whiff of acetic acid too. Flavours of pear, cider vinegar, cloves and a little citrus. Fruity, sour finish. Nice.

Pours a murky yellow with a white head. Smells of Belgian sour. Tart with aromas of sour berries and hints of malts. Medium bodied. Medium to high carbonation. Bitter and sour finish.

Sweet and sour, bit of wood, and some metallic notes as well. Tried once, better beers to be had for its price, in and outside of its style even.

Draft, Brouwer’s. Clear golden orange with a dense white head. Very sour nose with citrus and berry notes, light sweetness. The flavor is more of the same, a very clean, bracing vinegar and fruit sourness just barely balanced with sweetness and some mild grassy hops. Very nice, this could probably pass for a gueuze.

Best before 5/2/11. Pours hazy gold with a foamy beige head that fades leaving a ring around the glass. Aroma of banana, lemon, honey. Tastes like a wine, not overly acidic or sour. Very nice.

Very clean and mild, yet still fairly sour. Hints of wild yeast tastes in the aftertaste, but when drinking none of them are detectable. It seems like they handpicked the yeasts and bacteria on this one instead of just putting it in the attic. The right malt for this mellow sourness also as everything is in balance.

Dark golden pour with white head leaving nice lacing. nose is sour citrus/cherry and subtle brett and light caramel malt. taste is similar to the nose not very sweet but not overwhelming. light body, lingering sour fruit throughout pleasant bite. nice!
