Thin blonde pour with minimal head and slight ruddy touches of color in there. Funked oak aroma with souring apple touch with a slight chalky quality. The body is a total spectrum ranging from early sugary caramel quickly transitioning quickly to a biting souring twinge and burn. Tongue tinglingly puckering. Souring fruity echoes remain strongly on the exhale with a thinned finish. Strong physical reaction but still lacks a ton of depth. Feels like a heartburner.

As sours go, this isn’t the most complex or interesting thing in the world, but it’s tasty and pretty light drinking. Has a lemony and slightly grassy sourness to it, and a bit of mild sweetness with alcohol warmth on the back end. Like a berliner weisse that got confused about how much alcohol it was supposed to have.

Draft with Linh at kraftworks. Pours a golden body with slight haze and no lacing. Aroma is salty and vinegar sour. Mouthfeel is the selling point of this brew with standard funky sour notes in the flavor.

9/24/10. Hazy light golden pour with a thick off-white head that’s gone fast. Huge sour aroma with huge vinegar and hints of lemon peel and tart green apples. Obvious tart flavor, a bit one dimensional, light compared to the huge vinegar aroma with a touch of alcohol and definite tannic wood in the finish. Not bad, but there’s better.

Interesting beer. Medium minus acidity - fairly light and not overpowering. Earthy hops. Light sweetness. Quite nicely balanced.

From a 11.2oz into a snifter. Pours a very frothy pale yellow (nothing special) with a ton of fizzy head. The head dissipates after a few minutes leaving minimal lacing. Nice mild floral aroma. Mouthfeel is very fizzy; too fizzy in my opinion. Taste is very tart like a sour should be. The first taste is POWERFUL. Good floral flavor with some oak flavor as well. Very worth trying and a very solid sour.
