Pours a light golden amber with a white head. Sour, fruity nose with a little bit of barnyard aroma. Taste is big sour, tart, some fruit, and some oak notes as well. Delicious beer. Can’t believe the ABV.

330mL bottle - Pours light golden amber, clear with cascading bubbles that rise up to a thin layer of tiny-bubbled off-white head. Big tart nose, vinegary with cherries, citrus, and a milky funk. Nothing subtle about the taste, either. It blasts with a huge tart wave to begin, citrusy and acidic with that same white vinegar character. The same cherry note is in there, but pretty subtle, and it lingers through the long finish with a little bit of wood and a touch of milkiness. The initial tart blast isn’t sharp and doesn’t increase in power--it just kind of blasts you and stays around, slowly fading through to the finish. It’s viscous, well-carbonated, and coats the mouth. I can’t decide if the tartness is too much or just enough. I think I’ve settled on just enough. A weird beer, and one that would be a good substitute for a really tart gueuze if you’re just looking for mouth-puckering.

Poured into Tulip, light blond color with a quickly dissipating finger or two of white head. Smells light and very citrusy. Taste is very pretty sour. Crisp and refreshing. If you are in the mood for a sour, this is a good choice.

33cl bottle from Discount Liquor Milwaukee. Pours a bright yellow color with a white head and nice lacing. Aroma is sour, a little funk, citrus, lemon. Medium on the palate with lively carbonation. Flavor is sour, tart, fruity, citrus, lemon, with a nice light, sour finish. A very good sour ale at very good price.

Quite the gift from OmegaX. Twas’ very tart initially, with lots of bitter grape flavors. Finished more on the mellow side, and became pretty dry with subtle earthy notes.
