330 mL bottle. Pours golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma is a very acidic sour lemon. Sour enough that I feel like I start to taste it on the back of my tongue. Flavor has the same acidic lemon sourness, but not as aggressively, with some biscuit, touch of dustiness. Very dry. This is a great sour.

This is one of the first sour beers I’ve had at Quinn’s in Seattle. It got me hooked on the genre.

Served in a champagne flute at a local beer tasting event. Clear golden color. Nice thick head with lots of bubbly effervescence. Sour lemony aroma with a little woody oak tones. Very, very tart, almost like a sour candy with vinegar. I’m not an expert in this category, and I realize it’s intended to have this tartness, but it was a bit much for my taste. I wasn’t picking up any of the woody notes from aging in barrel -- I just get sourness. Medium bodied, maybe even a bit thin on the palate. I would think it’s best served perhaps as an apertif before a meal. I wouldn’t think it would go well with most foods. Not my favorite, but it’s interesting to try.

Sample at Global Beer Expo. The best of the lot, imo. Pours an attractive pale gold with fluffy head. Nose is funky with stone fruits, cherry, apricot and lactic. Sweet ripe fruit in the distance. On taste, a quenching acidity bits through with more peachy notes, some cherry and clean malt. Spicy Saaz character as well. Very nice.
