On tap at Bittercreek. Light gold in color. Light sour nose but very tart in flavor. One of my go to sours.

Quite bubbly very clear golden with minimal head. Musty nose and some citrus. Yeah there’s a bite to this, tart and some funkiness. The oak also adds some dryness. This is really nice and a nice surprise. Crisp and some residual tart dryness in the finish.

Strong white wine, vinegar, and ginger ale aroma. Yellow pale lager appearance, very deceiving. Metallic tart flavor, not really sour in my opinion, some minor key citrus sweetness. Crisp cola like body, very drying. Not familiar enough with sours to make a meaningful judgement, so I’ll say it pretty okay.

March 1, 2014. 33cl bottle at beerbistro. Clear golden yellow. White head. Very carbonated. White wine (dry) aroma. Lemon, sharp sourness in flavour, along with grapefruit. Hints of wood. Nice.

75ml corked bottle. Exceptionally smooth and drinkable for a sour ale. Lightly hazy, medium golden with light airy head. Soft, but full, fruity, cider aroma. Taste is fizzy, light, mildly acidic, malt, cider, wood. This one has me rethinking sour ales, most of which are too tart for my palate.

Redelijk lange droge afdronk. Doet mij beetje denken aan geuze. Lekker genietersbiertje.

Bottle. Vinegar and bright on the nose, smells quite sour, apple. Light white head on a golden hay body. Carbonated, light mouth feel with a bright bitterness on the tongue, not overpowering. Light, fizzy with a lingering finish. A sour that wont overload your mouth, almost feels more like a wine than a beer.

Aroma of citric acid and sour dough bread. Cloudy caramel colour with a thick head. Sour taste with a mildly acidic palate.

Light golden pour with a clean white head. Aroma is vinegar, apple, lemon. Appealingly tart/sour. Flavor is the same. Fruity tartness in nice balance with a round sweetness. Slight vanilla from the oak, providing a nice smoothness and roundness to the experience. Apple juice and lemon are predominant flavors. Super thirst quenching. Sourness is quite strong but not too much. Could probably take some more sweetness to balance and give depth. I personally like more of a sweet/sour combination in these beers, and on that front it fall a bit short. Still a pretty nice beer.
