A solid wild ale. I was spoiled in Belgium so these days the standards are very high for what we can get here in the US. Better than most wild ales produced this side of the pond

Yellow gold color with a fizzy white head that dissipated quickly. Very tart, sour flavor. Punchy, citrus and cherry, almost lambic-like. Finish is very tart and trails off very slowly. Wow.

Bottle. Tart, malty aroma with vinous notes. Pours clear, golden colored with a thin white head and no lacing. Tart, vinous flavor with apple notes to start. Finishes dry with tart, vinous notes and a clean refreshing end. Pretty good.

On tap at Doherty’s Alehouse Warwick.
Funky, fruity earthy with a bit of wood, I enjoyed this.

Bottle to glass. Pours light yellow color. Visibly fizzy. Light head. Aroma is tart, yeast, funk, bread. Almost smells bretty. Taste is tart, moderate sour, hints of yeast and citrus. Very dry finish. Palate is highly carbonated, almost too much so, light body. Overall enjoyable, but not the best I’ve had.

Lots of sour, and rich mouth feel. Without the floatiies that I like. No fruit overtones, and little oak contribution.

Heldere koperen kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt zurig, honing, kers. Smaakt zuur, hout, fris. Een van de betere zure bieren die ik op heb. Nog steeds geen liefhebber.
