Previously lost notes from GBBF 2006. Fizzy blonde. Thick body, quite sour and not very well balanced. On this tasting I found this to be an average to poor example of the style.

Poured from bottle golden with medium white head settling to thin lace. Aromas of wood and citrus and some yeast. Tastes on the sour side with a little bit of hop bitterness and light sweet up front. Light carbonation and light to medium body, overall a decent tasting experience.

From tap @ Café Buitenlust, Oirschot NL now that the beer is ABT beer of the month AUG ’11. Golden yellow colour. Smells sour, wine and cellar. Tastes sour, 7up/sprite, sugar aftertaste. Good active mouthfeel, not too much co2.

On tap at the cask republic. Pours a clear golden beer that has a thin off white head. A sour fruit aroma. Flavor begins with malt and light vinegar. There are pears and tart apples noted in the flavor, light woodiness as well. Acid tartness flows through the suprisingly long finish..

(Bottled) When a beer makes me wince and shiver cause of its sour acidity ,im in the right neighbourhood ; i’ll buy a beach house in this area thanks../,
Yes its cool =raw lemon, cooking apple , leather and oak crashing classy waves of tart brilliance . -=yes some vinegar and a richness festers in the backdrop. Straight up real good. Ironic that it looks like some pissy textbook Belgian pale. Wrong . So cool.

Pours golden. Aroma is lightly acetic, white grape, wood, a touch of vinegar. Crisp dry mouthfeel, flavor are sweet pear and sour white grape, woody and dry on the finish. I could drink this stuff all day.

Interesting Flemish red acetic acid, cherries, dark fruits, and cheesy funk make up the profile of this interesting albino brew. The body is medium with ample carbonation and a dry finish.

On tap, pours clear medium yellow with soft white head. Strange woody smell of lemon and mustard. Taste is soft vinegar, mustard, moderate lemon tartness with high acidity and a smooth wood flavor that lies just underneath it all. Crisp clean sweet dry finish astringent bitterness. A very good standard top notch sour.
