3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had this right after the Petrus Oud Bruin, and surprised how much higher a score it gets comparably. While this has a much more expressive nose, itís still just a bit too much of a sour punch for me. The mouthfeel wasnít nearly as pleasant either... a touch too thin. Overall too acidic and puckering for my taste. If youíre looking for a solid sour kick in the junk, thisíll be right up your alley.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle in a tulip. Pours crystal clear pale golden with a small white head. Lacing and retention are minimal, lots of carbonation present. Aroma is sour, spicy, wood. Initial taste is heavy sour and mild bitter with a medium sweet and mildly bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, medium duration.
Overall: A nice sour, drinkable, not too sweet. Didnít notice the wood. Fairly straight forward, enjoyable.

I had this at Global Brew. It has a sour taste which I love. This is really good. I would definitely drink this again.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had it out of a bottle, had a clear yellow hue, with a sweet aroma and the taste has a sour front with a dry finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: cloudy gold, with a frothy white head and syrupy legs. Aroma: apple cider vinegar, lemon zest, pineapple, tart white grape juice. Taste: BAM sour patch kids (lemon) without the ensuing sweetness, with notes of green apple jolly rancher, a bit of yeast, and some vinegar. Finish: lingering astringent tartness, with just a hint of honeyed, yeasty malts trying (but failing) to provide balance. Notes: This is a sour beer, to say the least. Itís very good for what it is, but it was a little sour for me. I prefer the red/brown sours to this for their malt/sweet balance, as the astringency in this beer was off the charts.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Just way over the top too sweet. I couldnít find any pale. Just sweet and bitter. No hoppy accents that a pale ale should have. I had a hard time finishing this beer. Sorry, not recommended.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
11.2oz bottle. Pours a golden yellow, sparkling almost champagne like with a small white head. Aroma is of Belgian yeast, biscuit malt with ripe fruity notes. Taste is mildly tart and sour with some Belgian yeast, has a kind of sour fruit slightly vinegary white wine. Palate is a medium body with mild carbonation and sweet tart sourness on the tongue. Finish same as taste with some faint notes of malt on the end gives it slight balance. Overall a bit on the sour side yet a drinkable brew none the less.
