Very nice rather sweet beer. Rather hard to find beer for Belgium, special made for export to US. Very nice beer and worth of tasting

Bottle pours a dark yellow with a white head. Aromas are tart apples, vinegar and wood. Tastes are tart apple, lemon, wood and malt. The body is light to medium with average carbonation. The beer has nice clean finish and is very crisp. Overall, a well done sour.

Flasche (33 cl), 6 Monate über dem MHD. - Dunkles Goldgelb, klar. Stark saurer, leicht holziger, sehr trockener Abgang. Herb-säuerlicher Nachtrunk mit muffiger Kellernote. - Extremes Bier, aber ein erstklassiger Durstlöscher. Erinnert sehr an Gueuze.

Bottle. Tart, malty aroma with vinous notes. Pours clear, golden colored with a thin white head and no lacing. Tart, vinous flavor with apple notes to start. Finishes dry with tart, vinous notes and a clean refreshing end. Pretty good.

Tartness envelopes the mouth and is followed by oak tannins and finishes with a subtle and lingering bitterness. Complex, yet very drinkable. Another fine sour ale. Love them!

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2013 On tap, pours clear medium yellow with soft white head. Strange woody smell of lemon and mustard. Taste is soft vinegar, mustard, moderate lemon tartness with high acidity and a smooth wood flavor that lies just underneath it all. Crisp clean sweet dry finish astringent bitterness. A very good standard top notch sour.

Bottle. Delirium cafe, Brussel. Great citric and acidic cellar notes, like gueuze, in the nose; woody, fruity, some horseblanket and barnyard. Sourrish, woody, cherries and citric acidity in the flavour(funky? yes!). Finishes tart, dry and fruity. Just great!

12 oz. from Chuck’s. This is by far the most sour beer that I have ever tasted. Looks like the urine from a terribly dehydrated person (how fitting) but tastes like a flavor explosion. Pucker up!
