Just way over the top too sweet. I couldn’t find any pale. Just sweet and bitter. No hoppy accents that a pale ale should have. I had a hard time finishing this beer. Sorry, not recommended.

Bottle. Tart, malty aroma with vinous notes. Pours clear, golden colored with a thin white head and no lacing. Tart, vinous flavor with apple notes to start. Finishes dry with tart, vinous notes and a clean refreshing end. Pretty good.

[Bottle] Pours a hazy yellow color with a ton of foamy white head. Lively carbonation and some floating yeast. Vinegar, wet grass and yeast in the nose. Sour taste includes tart apples, pear and grape. Mild malts and light grassy finish. Tasting notes from 2/2014.

On tap at Doherty’s Alehouse Warwick.
Funky, fruity earthy with a bit of wood, I enjoyed this.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to glass. Pours light yellow color. Visibly fizzy. Light head. Aroma is tart, yeast, funk, bread. Almost smells bretty. Taste is tart, moderate sour, hints of yeast and citrus. Very dry finish. Palate is highly carbonated, almost too much so, light body. Overall enjoyable, but not the best I’ve had.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Lots of sour, and rich mouth feel. Without the floatiies that I like. No fruit overtones, and little oak contribution.

Heldere koperen kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt zurig, honing, kers. Smaakt zuur, hout, fris. Een van de betere zure bieren die ik op heb. Nog steeds geen liefhebber.

It poured a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma was yeasty and sour with some spices and citrus notes. The taste was of bananas, cloves with some yeast in the finish. Very good.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very clear pale gold. Acidic aroma with some lactic funk. Sips crisp and slightly citrusy with oak and a sour dry mouthfeel. Leaves a slight puckering on the tongue. Carbonation is medium and there is a slight vinous character. Slight cellar, musty flavor in the finish. Also has a slight apple and cider like profile. Complex, mostly dry, semi sweet, dry and sour crisp ale.

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Appears beer vinegar. Hard to finish if you do not like acid. To try something different but bears little resemblance to the real ale.
