0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
This is, without a doubt, the worst beer I have ever had. Having consumed many hundreds of different craft beers over the past thirty years, I thought that I should try a new style. But rather than a new style, it’s as if the brewer forgot about this batch for quite a while, and instead of disposing of it as any decent human being would do, he foisted it on an unsuspecting public, claiming that it was a new style and it is *supposed* to taste this way. And that gullible public, not wanting to feel as if they had been duped, chimed in with approval for this new style of aged pale ale. The very sad truth is that this makes Budweiser and Coors taste good, something that I did not believe was possible.
Poured a pale amber with almost no head. Unusual aromas of cheese, cooked vegetables, and slightly skunky, Heavily sour and salty, but a nice lively carbonation. Tastes like beer mixed with cider and sweaty socks. This is horrible. Thank god I only bought one bottle.

Flaska på Örebro Öl & Whisky Festival. Belgoklubbens monter. Något bitter i eftersmaken.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks Yoav. Hazy blond with a white head. Funky, slightly lactic, also citrus tartness in the nose, hints of vanilla - perhaps from the wood - as well. Funky, fruity and juicy taste. Medium body, balanced, juicy finish.

Min førse øl af typen. Spændende øl, med en overraskende smag. Har fin smag fra ege-fadene.

Helder geel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is erg zuur en droog, fruitig met iets van citrus. Veel te zuur om van te genieten.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A perfectly clear yellow body with a ring of white foam around the edge of the
glass. Nose has nice funky aromas, stable, bandaid, yeast, earthiness and fruitiness. Taste has a strong sour bite with a rather hefty bitterness on the finish, puckering aftertaste. Lively carbonation and fairly light mouthfeel. This is ok, I guess. A little too sour for my taste but lovely aroma.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Opalescent golden with bronze hues offering a small white head and interesting viscousity. Funky, wet earth aromas with notes of wood, ripe apples, pears and quince and a wonderful dash of mirabelles, apricot and nectarines rounds the co,plexity off. Lightly even faintly carbonated with a light oily, medium-full body. Fruity apple, apricot sweetness, tart, acidic and pretty funky complex. Lasting slick finish.

330 ml bottle. Bought in Rue de freres in Strasbourg. The smell is strong wood has you can imagine for a "grand reserve", i’m not such and expert to tell what kind of wood, but I know is there. There are red fruits in the smell has well, mostly raisins. Color is common golden with low white head. Really no clue of how this is going to be. This is the first time I have a reserve beer and taste is really different, is like citric, but in the good way and has a lot in the backround to feel. Maybe not crazy about this beer, but definetly worth the try.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home. One year old bottle. Pours a clear golden amber color with an off-white head. Sour aroma of oak, forest floor, brown sugar, rowanberries, vinegar and apples. The flavor is more sour with lemon juice, crowberries, cigarette, vinegar, and dry oak. Has a slick and sparkly mouth feel, and a medium berry bitterness. A bitter berry sour ale. Feels a bit unbalanced but interesting though.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Prohibition Pig, Waterbury, VT.
This was poured into a half pint glass of theirs.
The appearance was a soft hazy burnt yellow color with a cap of a white little head.
The smell started off with a big burst of sour lemon rind and softened to a vague overall citrus rind. A light woodiness did open in it as it warmed.
The taste was moderately sour with a light woody sweetness underneath. Its sour lemon in the aftertaste but had a dry citrusy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a nice sessionable feel about it. Carbonation runs good and somewhat light.
Overall, as a sour/wild ale, it definitely works, I’d have this one again.
