2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
More sweet than a typical Flemish brown or red and the cherry sweetness overpowers the aged pale base. Very much a lightly sour fruit beer. Slight oaky taste, but pretty much this is all lightly sour cherry.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle pours a hazy dark red color with a light tan head that leaves good lacing. Smells of cherries and oak. Tastes of the same things in the smell with a slight sour flavor in the finish. Mouthfeel is thin and slightly watery with good carbonation. One of the best cherry tastes I’ve ever experienced for beer. Nice oak notes too. Not overly sour which is nice. Highly recommended for people who like fruit forward beers.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
(from notes) 330 mL bottle into a pint glass at Basement Burger Bar on February 19. The pour is a deep ruby color with a dark pink head, leaving good lace down the glass. The aroma is huge on cherry. It’s delicious. There is a little sourness to it, which is well received. The flavor is just like the aroma, really sour on the beginning of the taste, The cherry tartness stays away until the back end. The mouth feel is quite good. Covers nicely, a little creamy, and the aftertaste is really, really good. There is a lingering tart cherry, with a touch of sourness

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
pours a deep dark red and has a slight aroma of cherries. overall the taste is of slight cherries with a bit of a sour feel, but on the most part gives of a cough syrup taste. overall this is a great beer to pair with dessert, and is a decent change of pace from the standard IPA or Stout type beers

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
@ Party Source / Bellvue KY --- Clear very dark red with a tan head that quickly drops to a thin cover, streamers of lace. Taste is cherry and malt. It has sour characteristics, but doesn’t actually qualify as a sour ale, at least by taste. Tart is the best description, as though this is an ale that has cherry flavoring. Decent, easy to drink, it hides the 8.5% very well.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
pours a nice reddish brown with a quickly dissipating average tan head. This beer tastes mostly like sweet and sour cherries with a slight bit of chocolate. This beer tastes a lot like wine.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma of a cherry Tossie Roll. SWEET/SOUR CHERRY! A thin head quickly dissipates leaving a white ring with moderate lacing upon a solid cherry coke hued pour. The taste is (thankfully) just short of surpy sweet; there are enough sour elements to balance sweetness. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Overall, I liked the beer. The taste, while sweet, is balanced and very enjoyable. I think this brew will pare well with a numbers of foods.
