The Beer starts fruity. The nice typical wooden brown ale character is present, but unfortunately a chemical cherry taste comes in quick. It's the taste of the small red cherry-lollipops I had as a child. Nice and sweet, but 100% artificial. Aroma is also beside sugar in the ingredients, so the 10% cherry-juice is simply waste! Why real cherry-juice if you add chemical aroma? The aftertaste is long, nicely wooden-aged brown ale together with the typical chemical cherry that lies above everything... --> Very sad - a great beer mixed with artificial flavour... --> 7/12/7/7

Bottle @ Fynsk Brunsviger er kommet til Ulfborg for at blive , som streger i dine hvide underbukser. Day 2. Pours dark ruby red with a small pink head. Marzipan, cherries and marzipan. They forgot the Oud Bruin. Sweet and artificial.

Sweet/tart cherries, some oak tannins. It seems too sweet and not tart enough, but I don’t think the sweetness becomes cloying. Mild tartness on the exhale, with some alcohol heat.

33cl bottle @ home. Reddish dark brown color, average brownish head. Aroma cherry, bubble gum, red wine, licorice, cinnamon, woody notes. Taste medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness, salty notes, alcohol is slightly noticable. Full body, sticky texture, lively carbon, not too long lasting acidulated-bitterish finish. Totally not my style, but better than I thought. Never again btw.

All I tasted was cherries without any nuances and later on a bit of cassis an a strange sweetness I couldn't really place and didn't fit in. I finished it but it will be the last of this one ever.
