Clear dark ruby pour with garnet highlights and good ring of khaki head with a slightly pinkish twinge. AMAZING aroma of dark red cherry turnovers. Doesn’t even remotely come off as fake or medicinal. Very authentic. Very excellent sweettart cherry juice with lots of carbonation. Just a little bit of syrupy sweetness that I don’t quite care for, but other than that... And I juat Can’t believe this even has 5% alcohol much less 8! Very fantastic!

Maraschino cherry over slightly tart cherry cobbler and berry nuances, one of the better heavily fruit influenced beers I’ve had

A deep red body with volcanic highlights when illuminated; a large frothy island initially caps an exceptionally tight pinkish tan, skin tone colored head leaving rounded islands and spots of lace evolving into more angular cave drawings as the serving progresses
-
Cherry cobbler with Maraschino cherry highlights are the main attraction with the sweet, somewhat bready notes balanced by berry tartness, some faint floral notes and light oaky characteristics are also present in the shadows; lemon bar appears as this warms; a medium-light, somewhat syrupy, mildly acidic and carbonated body reveals an abrupt finish with residuals of tart cherry accented by hints of barn wood

750ml a friend picked up at Chevy Chase Wine. Pours a hazy caramel amber with some creamy, off white head. Nose is sweet, syrupy, cherries, candy sugar. Flavor is pretty much the same, some candy sweetness, plenty of cherry, some light vinegar, some malt. Medium, sticky finish.

At Epic Beer Fest 2013. Clear dark amber with a thin light beige head. Aroma has lots of syrupy cherry on the nose with a slight cough medicine tone. Flavor unfortunately reminds me of bubble soap. But luckily there’s a sweet syrupy cherry tone underneath to knock that aside. But the finish still reminds me of soap.

On tap at City Beer. Literally smells and tastes like black cherry juice. I like black cherry juice. The only problem with this is that with warmth, it edges a little into cough syrup territory.

The best cherry beer we've had, but not saying much unfortunately. Cherry is just tough for beer, too sweet. This smells and tastes like cherry jello, or black cherry soda. Not too sweet, but pretty intense. Had on tap it East Side Club Tavern in Olympia. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, shared at RBAG 2013. Beautiful garnet red colour, effervescent pinkish head. Sweet black cherry aroma dominates. You know this is going to be sweet! Dark cherry fruit, almost syrupy, saved somewhat by strong woody undertones, mild tartness, and a silky mouthfeel. Sweet yes, but I still enjoyed it. The fruit works here for me, like a malty kriek.

Serving: 330 ml. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a dark, ruddy brown with a slight head. The nose is all dark cherries. I was surprised at the sweetness in the flavor. There is a huge dark cherry flavor to go with and a hint of sour and wood. A little sweet for my taste, but not bad.

On tap in Seattle. Fairly sweet, could use more tartness. Alcohol strength is welcomed.

Bottle - Maraschino cherries, sticky, sweet and a hit of vinegar. Maroon, cloudy and a thin pink head. Cherry syrup and some barrel sourness. Needs the right environment as it is sweet, but still nice.
