On tap at 800 degrees. Pours a dark red with off white head. Cherries and oak aroma. Not tart at all. Sweet cherry taste as it warms.

This pours a reddish brown color with a very thin head of carbonation. The aroma is sweet with cherries and hints of oak. The taste is rather interest as it’s not quite a sour ale and not quite a lambic either. Taste fairly good with a touch of carbonation. Still kind of a desert beer though. Not bad, I would recommend trying it.

Tap at Huppel the Pub, Den Haag. Poured a deep reddish brown with a thin off white head and loads of lace. The aroma is big cherry fruit and dry yeast. The flavour is medium to strong sweet, almost liquid cherry juice, yeasty and with a zesty palate. The sweetness won’t be to everyone’s liking.

Bright bodied, nice looking beer with proper head. Aroma of red berries, deep purple cherries, a faint sour hint. Generally sweet but from fruit rather than sugar. Taste to match that, very sweet but from a concentrated cherry juice with spot on hints of sour malts and bitterness. Not something I would normally pick but a great brew and will pair excellently with chocolate deserts, so might actually pick up some for such an occasion. Very quality stuff, despite the sweetness. (33cl bottle from Bierparadijs)

Pours a dark reddish color with big pink, three finger thick, foamy head that quickly disappears leaving exceptional lacing throughout the glass. Aromas of huge cherries. Flavors of cherries are very present with sour undertones. After a few drinks, I feel it loses its pleasantness and starts to taste a bit like cough medicine.

A delicious and very refreshing sour beer. Aroma was alright. Cough syrup, cherries and notes of vinegar. A little weak. Pour was stunning. Deep dark ruby with a 2 finger pink head. Loved the look of this beer. Taste was crisp and refreshing. Not very full or big but nice. Sour cherry was the big flavor. There was a slight vinegary note that nipped the top sides of the mouth with a nice sourness. Good strong carbonation. Nice beer

Pours a dark reddish brown with no head. Aroma of cherries and oak. Taste is sweet cherries, with a mild tartness and oak on the finish. Very sweet. Interesting overall but not something I’d Go back for.

Aromas of sour cherry and red wine. Some oak too. Nice and tart. But enough sweetness to provide balance.

750 ml from Save-On. Dark reddish brown with small head and lace. Woody cherry sweet tart aroma. Very cherry woody mostly sweet stops short of cherry cough syrup, a little caramel with a mild bitter woody finish. Medium body. Could be a little drier and a little lighter. Okay.

Bottle to tulip. Pours a reddish copper color with a sticky orange cream colored head. Two,fingers of lace recede to a 1/4 inch of foam that lasts on top of the pour. Excellent lacing. Dark cherry juice aroma with slightly more than a touch of damp wood. Taste is heavy cherry juice, which I like. It initially reminds me a lot of Kasteel Rouge but the middle and finish are different. This is a sweeter beer but middle of the taste brings tartness not unlike a sour candy. The finish is hop bitterness and more tartness from the barrel treatment. Dark cherry skin tannins remain throughout the finish. This is actually a lot better than I expected but will disappoint those who want a Geuze like sour.
