COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Petrus Aged Red is constructed from a base of Double Brown Ale. 15% Petrus Aged Pale is added to provide a dry character to the brew and give it a slight sour essence. Finally the brewer adds fresh cherries, which are evident in the rich thick head. Petrus Aged Red is a perfect blend of sweet and sour with a cherry undertone which makes this brew remarkably drinkable at 8.5% ABV.

Bottle: Served in a shaker: Sour red/brown my ass! This is another overly sweet fruit beer. What a waste of money! Couldn’t even finish a 33cl bottle. Fake shit! Artificial sweet red fruits and nasty bitter. Fucked up fruit beer. Bad! NEXT!

Verhetelennek tűnik a fruit beer vonalon.

Deep red colour, with pink head. Smell is intense, cherry but also some fake note, maybe syrup. Also in the taste. Quite sweet, with little acidity.

Tap. Reddish orange pour - more on the red side. Small pink frothy head. Syrupy cherries all over this. Slightly tart. Not bad.

cloudy red color; tart cherry aroma; great, tart cherry flavor with hints of oak

Red-brown color with little head. Aroma is some caramel malts, a bit of yeast and funk, and a hint of cherries. Taste is big on the cherries with a nice malt backbone that isn’t overwhelming. Great all-around beer.

Bottle@Home. Not really bad but way too sweet and the ’schwarzwalder kitsch torte’ character and feeling is too much for me.

33cl bottle. Murky deep red pour with pink head. Aroma of syrupy and artificial cherries, pretty much crushes anything including any sour brown character. Taste is distinctly medicinal, cherry cough syrup flavor. Palate is slick, sweet with low carbonation. Bleh.

Bottle at home. Poured a ruby Brown colour with a off white head. Over ripe cherries, sugar, caramel, weird murky flavour, sweet stinky aftertaste. Cant even finish it

Donker roodbruin, plakkerige kraag.
