Had at Glunz Global Beer Expo XIX. Pours a clear, dark red with a minimal pink head that dissipates quickly. Had aromas of cherry, licorice, and alcohol. It went downhill from there. Tasted like cherry soda, but that was probably because there was way too much carbonation. Was not sour. Not impressed with this one.

Drinking from a 33 cl bottle. In the aroma cherries, wine, dust. The clear dark red beer has a small brown head. Lot of sweetness and sourness of the cherries. Vineux. Low carbonated.

Dark and strong for the style. Rich, sour cherry flavor. Almost syrupy and maybe a little bit overdone. This is more of a sipping beer than, say, a Rodenbach which I think of as a more light and refreshing type of beer. Solid but Iíve had better sours.

I think this is a bit underrated. Perhaps the thin filmy head distracts a bit but the deep ruby color is lovely, and the spritzy nose of cherry is very nice. The flavor is well balanced. The dry sourness of petrus comes through, as does the cherry. This would be a near perfect beer but it has just a touch too much sweetness, although itís not artificial or candy-ish. Very good stuff.

33cl bottle. Clear reddish colour with a nice off-white head. Fruit, tart and yeast in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is sweet and sour with some bitterness in the finish. Overall, a nice beer but... Not much my preferred style.

Deep cherry aroma. Cherry red colour with lace. On tap at world of beer charlotte. Tart with cherry juice flavour. Very drinkable. Tart mostly in the finish.

The combined taste of dark beer and cherries is quite extraordinary. Might be a bit too sour.

Had this at a fantastic tasting and had such a great time with great people and great beers! This reminded me of cheap grocery store brand black cherry soda.

On tap at the WOB. pours reddish brown with no head. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Flavor is cherry cough syrup, becomes more tart as it warms but still tough to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
