(bottle - 330 ml) Clear orange color with a thick off-white head. Aroma is very light with some skunky and sour hints. Some light malts. Flavor is smooth and malty at the beginning with a mild spice hint. Middle is sweet as well with some caramel and yeast. Finishes smooth and sweet with a light alcohol warmth.

"Looks to me like a dark gold body, tall fluffy cap that is shaped like a nipple that is long lasting. Aroma is sour, slightly skunky and seems to contain mostly a yeast smell. Aroma after a short while completely vanished. Taste is nice and light, very refreshing. Malty, possibly wheat with mild hints of alcohol. The taste of yeast is really coming through now and I like it. Brew finishes mildly bitter but leaves behind a very sweet after taste. I find the beer to be of high quality I’d easily drink it again and in my opinion it’s the best Petrus out there."

From the bottle pours a lightly hazy, dusky orange-amber colored body with a small, foamy, cream colored head. The thin but lasting froth leaves sticky splotches and flares of lacing on the glass. Aromas are big on sweet candy sugar malt, caramel, and bready yeast. Traces of light funk and must reside in the background, as do hints of spoiled apple, while light floral hops add some peppery spice. Flavors are mostly sweet, blonde candy sugar dominating, with caramel and bread pudding notes. Faint hop bitterness and light peppercorn notes do little to balance things, and musty, fermented fruit notes lend an odd, tart twang. Medium-plus bodied, sticky, and sugary, the palate does not please, and it sits heavy in the stomach. Eh, not really my kind of brew.

330 ml bottle from Belgium Beers, Antwerp. Big fluffy near-white head. Yellow colored, golden shaded body. Crisp, kind of mouldy malt aroma. Notes of tropical fruits, dusty hops and metal. A firm, dryish malt body with some sweetish fruitiness. Mildly hopped. Lively mouthfeel. Light-bodied. Soft fruity, light malty ending. Quite an unusual Blonde, good drinkability though.

Bottle, 330ml, 2008. Colour is clearish gold, head is whitish and foamy. A bit musty and yeasty aroma. Taste is well carbonated and fresh, with malty body, added with sugar and slightly watery notes. A hint of hops in the finish.
