Petrus Blond

bottle. Golden yellow, peristent head. Fruity nose. Very malty and fruity with hints of apples and peach. Pleasantly hoppy finish and long aftertaste.

Bottle conditioned, 330ml. Yellow gold with white head. Quite similar to the Triple really, tangy thinnish malts, some spiciness and fruit, squashy fruit like bananas comes to mid, then a late and reasonably bitter hop. Not as accomplshed as the Triple but its ok.

bottle. orange with a frothy head that leaves a spotty residue. Yeasty aroma with apricot. Lotsa hop bitterness dry...man as bitter as any Belgian I’ve had.

draft in Ghent. Nice even blond, nothing special though. Refreshing on warm days.

Pours a little flat. Some honey in the aroma. Flavour is a little bit metallic and very slightly sweet. Alcohol flavour is quite dominant considering it’s only 6.6%

Bottle: Pours a golden color with a soft bubbly head. Aroma is rich malty yeast with a hoppiness to it. The taste is zesty malt with just enough hoppy attributes to keep a strangle hold on your taste buds. Very impressive.

Poured a cloudy amber-brown hue, with a 1 inch thick head, which had decent retention. Aroma was rich with fruit, bread, and yeast notes. Initially the flavor was fruity with mainly banana notes, bread like notes were also present, some hops in the finish. kinda light.
