Malty aroma with a touch of fruit. Banana maybe. Malty in the flavour too. Some nice spicy notes and a pleasant creamy palate. Balanced out just right with the hops in the finish. Not bad. Polishing it off ’cause the G/F couldn’t manage. Sweet malty aroma with a sniff of wood. Body thick and creamy, but without the accompanying sickly-sweetness similarly syrupy Belgians sometimes possesss. Sweet but elegantly fruity, with a gentle parting sourness. Better than the Tripel.
