Aug 23, 2006 A Mes rate: 33cl bottle from The Belgian Belly. Chunky head, semi cloudy tan body. Malty aroma with a touch of fruit. Banana maybe. Malty in the flavour too. Some nice spicy notes and a pleasant creamy palate. Balanced out just right with the hops in the finish. Not bad.

Aug 19, 2006 Boasts a generous white head a good half-hour after the pour. Polishing it off ’cause the G/F couldn’t manage. Sweet malty aroma with a sniff of wood. Body thick and creamy, but without the accompanying sickly-sweetness similarly syrupy Belgians sometimes possesss. Sweet but elegantly fruity, with a gentle parting sourness. Better than the Tripel.

Aug 12, 2006 Draught. Rough vinous aroma. Almost clear golden colour, very small white head. Peppery, vinous, citric and vinegary flavour. Also like earthy white wine.

Aug 2, 2006 Bottled. Pours an orange color with a slight hint of red. Slightly sweet aroma, with hint of yeast. Slightly citric. A little graininess as well. Slighty sour up front with hints of yeast along with a slight fruity quality.

Jun 25, 2006 Gold/copper. Frothy, medium sized, cream colored cap. Softly sweet malt and earthy, lightly bitter hops and a little yeast. Simple, straightforward brew. Medium balanced body. Nice session brew.
