3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured with a medium orange body and a very dense white colored head. The aroma is fairly strong with some ginger and cinnamon. There is also some fruit like dried apricots. There is also a hint of the alcohol. The taste has some light dried apricots with some light ginger spice in the finish. There is also a little bit of dark cherries with some cake donuts. A decent and interesting beer.

A Mes rate: 33cl bottle from The Belgian Belly. Chunky head, semi cloudy tan body. Malty aroma with a touch of fruit. Banana maybe. Malty in the flavour too. Some nice spicy notes and a pleasant creamy palate. Balanced out just right with the hops in the finish. Not bad.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Boasts a generous white head a good half-hour after the pour. Polishing it off ’cause the G/F couldn’t manage. Sweet malty aroma with a sniff of wood. Body thick and creamy, but without the accompanying sickly-sweetness similarly syrupy Belgians sometimes possesss. Sweet but elegantly fruity, with a gentle parting sourness. Better than the Tripel.
