Clear amber, thin head. Crisp, almost pilsy, aroma, slightly metalic tinges. Pleasant carbonation. Simple taste, common to belgian blonds - sweet very light malts and gentle, but noticible sharp hoppiness. Good as an aperatif. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Oct 8, 2007 Bottle. Clear light amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, moderate yeasty, soap. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (180907) RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA Sep 11, 2007 Pours a slightly cloudy golden brown with some white head. Nose is pretty mild actually. Slightly hoppy with a little bit of a sweet edge. A touch of yeast. A touch of what might be described as a light floral perfume. Flavor is actually nice and full. Has a slight sweet edge to it that has a citric tone. I am actually surprised a bit. I didn’t expect it to be so full and even. It does have a bit of a syrupy tone to it, though it is not overwhelming. Mouthfeel is pretty good. Slight edge of carbonation. Very drinkable. I could down these all night and right now I am wishing I had more to be able to do just that. This is the first out of the Petrus 6-pack I picked up. It’s a good start. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/25/2007
