3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: APR 10, 2013 Serving: from bottle--purchased at Full Throttle Bottles.
Aroma: lightly citrusy, grapefruit aroma.
Appearance: Very thin, fizzy, white initial head that disappeared within seconds and no lacing. Hazy, amber body with small particles.
Taste: moderately sweet and fruity initial flavor and abrupt yeasty, sweet apple finish with average duration.
Palate: light body, dry texture and fizzy carbonation.
Overall: hmm . . . not overly exciting.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
11.2 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. Pours a clear, light copper with a white head of foam. The aroma is crackery and yeasty. There’s some light skunky notes in as well. Fairly sweet. Dry and moderately estery finish. Medium body and medium carbonation.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Nothing wrong with this one. But also nothing special. Nice malty flavor, not sweet, nicely moderate bitter. Some hints of yeast and grassy notes. Good carbonation. Very accessible. A bit boring for a Belgian ale interesting if you call it a pilsner.

"Lightly sweet aroma and flavor with some cereal type graininess in the flavor and feel. Light Belgian spice and honeysuckle like sweetness. Had with lobster. Ok overall but nothing special."

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
One of the beers that were added to this very diverse range when it was restyled some years ago. Thick, yellowish white, moussy, stable head, colour peach blond, clear. Aroma of pear, banana, pineapple, caramel, grains, honey and quite some DMS (cooked cauliflower); taste sweet and fruity, a tad sugary, honeyish, caramelly, and unfortunately it stays like that all the way through without any evolution worth mentioning. Hardly any hops in the finish and therefore the initial sweetness cloys in the throat. Another boring, totally mainstream, one-dimensional "top fermented pale lager" as there are too many of them in this country. Completely redundant.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from a French supermarket. Pours golden and sparkling with a frothy white head. The taste is citrus and spice with a syrupy feel. A little marmalade and metallic notes in the finish. Refreshing and enjoyable.
