UPDATED: APR 10, 2013 Serving: from bottle--purchased at Full Throttle Bottles. Aroma: lightly citrusy, grapefruit aroma. Appearance: Very thin, fizzy, white initial head that disappeared within seconds and no lacing. Hazy, amber body with small particles. Taste: moderately sweet and fruity initial flavor and abrupt yeasty, sweet apple finish with average duration. Palate: light body, dry texture and fizzy carbonation. Overall: hmm . . . not overly exciting.

Bottle from old backlog notes 07. Pours a hazy dark golden orange color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have quite a bit more fruit than I expected from a blonde, yeast, biscuits, mild spices, candi sugar, decent.

Pression. Petit doute si c’était la blonde ou la spéciale...bien sympa en tout cas pour commencer au bouillon belge.

75cl bottle at home. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small stable white head, NOSE: malts, alcohol, little sweet. TASTE: quite some alcohol there and a lot of malts. Ok to drink, but boring beer...

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Pours clear gold, no head at all, big bubbles. Aromas of light spice and yeast. Taste is sweet, light spice again, honey perhaps. There’s a separation between the malt-sweet side and the alcohol, meaning it hangs together badly, overall.

the aroma is malty, fruity and creamy... the taste is well-balanced, malty and sweet with shades of grasses, apple and citrus... aftertaste is slightly bitter and rather dry...

Taste is mostly sweet with some yeast and slight bitterness that sticks around in the aftertaste. There’s a little of the alcohol that comes through. Overall an enjoyable beer.

Bottle from national brewery centre, burton. Crystal clear golden beer with medium head. Aroma of bread and light spice. Taste is a little spice, a touch of yeast and a little more bread with some alcohol creeping through. Soft on the palate and lightly carbonated. Ok beer.

Clear golden, frothy white head. Bready, lightly floral aroma. Flavour is mellow, sweetish, malty and with a hint of bitterness.
