STEPHENDR (478), California, USA Jul 29, 2006 Orange hue – nice white head – faint nose of dried sweet fruit, spices, yeast funk – sour yeast, cloves, citrus, creamy – body tart and medium – aftertaste earthy BeerDaveC007 (14), Stockton, California, USA Apr 29, 2007 This is an overall nice light beer. It had a golden peach color, nice head and a nice light slightly sweet honey taste RblWthACoz (959), Brooklyn, New York, USA Sep 11, 2007 Pours a slightly cloudy golden brown with some white head. Nose is pretty mild actually. Slightly hoppy with a little bit of a sweet edge. A touch of yeast. A touch of what might be described as a light floral perfume. Flavor is actually nice and full. Has a slight sweet edge to it that has a citric tone. I am actually surprised a bit. I didn’t expect it to be so full and even. It does have a bit of a syrupy tone to it, though it is not overwhelming. Mouthfeel is pretty good. Slight edge of carbonation. Very drinkable. I could down these all night and right now I am wishing I had more to be able to do just that. This is the first out of the Petrus 6-pack I picked up. It’s a good start. CharlesDarwin (1413), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 28, 2007 33 cL Bottle. Cantelope and candied lemon. Faint malt. Clouded gold and pale amber pour, with smooth soapy fringe. Flavor is a rich tawny creamed malt and a bit of raisins and acerbic airy flower of sweet sugars. Satisfying flavors and awesome attenuation create a rising percolation that pushes stellar drinkability to the edge. A bit of phenols and warmth. Suprised by some glowing caramels in a nice crips Belgian blond. A bit of biological dryness and styrian crispness creates a flavorful finish. Excellent for the style. confusedboy0 (95), Belgium Apr 28, 2003 VAn het vat in een klein Frans tea-roompje op een verlaten schiereiland. Blond en prettig in dronk.
