Nose is cellar, slight hazelnut, malt. Slight and unimpressive. Taste is coco, caramel, sugar, cherry, slight cola, nut leading to spice and floral notes. The finish is sweet with coco. Mouthfeel is slick. A decent dubbel.

33cl bottle @ home. Dark reddish-brown color, brownish average head. Aroma caramel, dishsoap, biscuit, honey, cherry, malty, flowery, slithtly roasty. Taste heavy sweetness, lightly bitter. Full body, sticky texture, average carbonation, medium lasting sweetish finish. Not bad but way too sweet for me.

Pours a dark brown and leaves the same color body with a two finger white foamy head, not much lacing is seen; the aroma has some nutty super malty and rich, lotsa brown sugar coming through; the taste is super malty sweet kinda like "brown sugar candy with a malty aftertaste and finish; its pretty easy on the palate could be construed as a bit thin, but still good, carbonation is soft; overall, I say still a good beer worthy of coming back to

330ml bottle. Murky mid-brown colour, actually doesn’t look too appealing, but has a good lasting head. Smells sweet, dark and warming, with cocoa and red berries. Really chocolatey taste, underpinning of red berries again. A bit one-dimensional, but a dimension I’m happy to visit.

Pours an average frothy off-whitebhead that mostly diminishes. Body is clear red brown and sparkling. Aroma contains moderate malts (cookie, grain, molasses), light hops (grass, spruce, citrus fruits), light yeasts (dough, horse blanket) and grape, raisin and cherry. Flavor starts off light acidic and light sweet, to be followed by light acidic, light sweet and light bitter. Body is light to medium with watery texture and soft carbonation. Ok, with some fruits but a stange malty finish ruins most of it for me.

Pours a clear amber-brown colour with a beige head. Nose isn?t too inviting. Taste is mainly sweet with caramel, chocolate, raisins and plums but gets a nice balance from a little bitterness, malts and some spices like nutmeg. Taste doesn?t last long. Medium bodied, quite lively carbonation.

33cl bottle at home. Dark amber with an off-white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Caramel, raisin, brown sugar and dried fruits. A tad too sweet for me, but ok for a dubbel.

Dunkelbraun, trüb, mäßiger Schaum. Kräuteriges Malzaroma, etwas nach Laub. Zuckrig-süßer Geschmack, etwas Würze des dunklen Malz und ein plörriger Abgang. 08/15 Dubbel ohne bleibenden Eindruck!
