Aroma is fruity - figs, raisins, and caramel. Pours a reddish brown with a rapidly disisapating beige head and minimal lacing. The taste is modeately sweet and like the nose, fruity (dark fruit, raisins, and figs). Also present are hints of caramel, molasses, some bready notes in the middle and a grainy finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, I found this to be a very enjoyable beer.

Initial gush of foam when opening bottle. Pours out reddish brown with very small, oily head. Dried fruits, runes dominate the aroma and taste. Overall sweet nature on this. More fruit and some yeast on the finish.

Bottled, 33 cl. Opal ruby coloured one with a medium sized fluffy beige head on its top, which diminishes to a thin film. Smell is a mix of mild dried cherries, caramel and licorice. Aroma is the same, mouthfeel is slick to oily. Rather malty and dry, somewhat warming finish underpainted by earth and licorice. Decent.

Some light smoke and raisin. Light plum. Slightly murky brown pour. Some basement type aged musk here as well. Light sweet finish. Soft carbonation. Good light Belgian beach beer. Bottle from grape and gourmet.

Draft. Brown body with a frothy, brown head. Aroma of caramel, molasses, nuts, roasted malts. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Overly sweet and a bit thin.

A great dubbel. Pours a nice auburn with tonnes of foamy tan head. Aromas are malty and sweet. Bread and dries fruit. Lots of vinous flavors with dried dates and raisins. Wonderful stuff.
