3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Hermod (1480) - Vantaa, FINLAND - JAN 15, 2012
33cl bottle, BBE 07/2013. Poured amber color with a creamy, lasting white head. Caramelly, fruity, yeasty aroma, slight sourness. Flavor is fruity, sugary and with dark fruits. Mouthdrying finish. Not very sour this one.

Reddish copper pour with an off-white head. Good retention. Looks delicious. Fruity on the nose - mostly apple and pear, light vinegar, slightly metallic. Medium body, light carbonation, no alcohol warmth. Starts off tart and quickly transitions to sweet and finishes pretty clean. Nothing spectacular, but a great session beer.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 jcweaver (367) - VA Beach, Virginia, USA - JAN 9, 2012
Bottle. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a small beige head. Slightly sour aroma with notes of cherry/raspberry, yeast, wood, sherry and a hint of chocolate. Great moderately sour taste with cherry, chocolate, wood and a hint of vanilla. Slightly more sour towards the finish with a bit of hops.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 timfoolery (595) - California, USA - JAN 9, 2012
Taster at DBS. The aroma was typical of a light sour, but the taste was lacking what I’m used to in a sour. No pronounced sour pucker, and I want too impressed with the confluence of flavor. Eh.

Bottled, 330ml at The Anchor, Birmingham. Mahogany with cream head. Sharp and tangy with a sweet fruity aside note. Fullish on the palate, there is a tartness that gives it a twangy edge. Pretty decent.

Light sour with some oak dour comes through more the more you drink pitched dregs into starter

Brown with garnet highlights. Disjointed aroma. Some dried fruit on the palate, but not much going on for a west Flanders. Slight sour throughout is too subtle for style. Sweet malt is in the background.
