Sample at Global beer Expo. Pours an attractive slightly ruby brown with offwhite head. Nose is cherries and a kiss of oak with vinegar. Sweet notes come through as well. On taste, much more muted sour notes, mostly sweeter malts. Clean and a touch musty. Finishes dry. Missing depth of flavor. Okay.

pours a clear dark brown with a small tan head, and not lacing. smell is of fresh malt, some woodiness, and a bit of dark fruit. taste is of sour malt, dark fruit, a touch of spice, and a little caramel, ends a little dry, somewhat sour, and a little bitter.

Deep reddish-brown colour, slight malt feel to it, acidic and sour, rather like that of a lambic, not much of a head on it, fruit flavours linger.

Extra in a trade... Out of the 11.2oz into a flute. Pours redish brown w/ little to no head. Smells of Juniper & pine. Flavor leaves much to be desired. A little funky, but not sour in the slightest. Thin mouth-feel. Not the ’key to heaven’ I was expecting. No thanks

A reddish brown beer with a great head. The aroma is fruity, and only slightly sour. The taste is sweet with some mild acidity leading to a neutral watery end. Reminds me of Duchesse.

250 ml bottle. Beautiful reddish brown body with a big off-white head. Strong and complex aroma with cellar notes, sour fruit and candy sugar with cellar notes. Flavor is a bit sweet and sour, malty, candy sugar, acidic, wood, dry fruit, roast and spicy. Very delicate and complex.
