3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
#200 - Woo! Dark reddish brown pour with a tan frothy head. Smells of sour dark fruits, cherries, and wood. Taste is not really sweet, not really sour but more mild than anything. There are some dark fruit flavors, some oak not much else.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Typical aroma of flemish red/brown. Pours brownish w/ quickly dissipating head. Medium to full bodied on the palate. Flavors of cherry and cranberry. Middle is a little lacking in body. Other than that it is on par with all my favorite sour beers.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a caramel-chocolate brown with a high, long-lasting, lacy head. (Long lasting isn’t kidding. It just sits there and dares you to drink it.) Nose is acetic with vanilla and tobacco-smoke notes. Not as sour as some I’ve had with a smoky sweetness underlying it; multilayered and complex. It reminds me of a really good barbecue sauce. (Makes me want to marinade with it, except then I’d lose out on drinking it.) Finish is long and rich. Very nice.
