3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: heavy corn mash, wheat-bread crust, slight dish rag, I love the aroma; Appearance: slightly transparent brown, like most nut brown ales Iíve seen, heavy bubble action upon pour that, if you leave it alone, will result in a rootbeer float like head; Taste: initial impression is a good sour that you expect, but, after the initial impression, you start to kind of taste a sort of subtle apple cidery flavour, this is my 2nd bottle of this brew, and, maybe Iím nuts, but this one tastes more watered down than the first one, I wonder how much variability there is bottle to bottle in this brew, anyone know?; Palate: a slight mouth watering sour, you can pull out the hops only in the aftertaste, in my opinion; Overall: this is my last bottle of this brew, I would have liked to have tried a couple more because Iím confused in that I liked the 1st bottle a lot more than the second, nonetheless, Iím becoming a big fan of sour ales, and for that reason, I am well pleased and will give this beer a good rating

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
The beer has a beautiful appearance. The color of the beer is a beautiful deep ruby red. The beer is beautifully clear. You can see some amounts of small bibles rising towards the top of the glass. At the surface they create a thin drape of foam, which is the remainder of a larger frothy brown foam, which tends to collapse rather quickly. The smell of the beer is rather mild. Iíve expected some stronger aromas. I smell some sour yeasty barnyard aromas, together with a rather simple bread like malt aroma. I donít really smell the hops in the beer. There might be a little resinous hop aroma, but I canít clearly smell it. After the beer had warmed up a little, the sour yeast aroma gets a lot stronger and fils almost all of the nose. The taste is slightly stronger, but it isnít really my favorite. Iím not that into the sour Belgian beer types. Iím more a bitter hop/roasted malt type of guy. The flavor has a rather strong sour yeast flavor to it. The beer also has a dry sensation, because of the sourness. It leaves the mouth really dry, longing for a sip of water (or another beer). The beer has a small slightly bitter touch of oak wood, though I expected s stronger oak flavor. This isnít really my type of beer Iím afraid.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had a bottle a while back at deTolly in Tartu. Poured reddish brown with smallish creamy head. Woody, fruity, spicy-ish aroma, somewhat sugary. Tasted sweetish sour, woody and fruity flavour. Light tartness, funky. Quite restrained sourness. Crisp and dry. Carbonation moderate to active. Lightish body. Overall pretty nice but far from outstanding.
