3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: heavy corn mash, wheat-bread crust, slight dish rag, I love the aroma; Appearance: slightly transparent brown, like most nut brown ales I’ve seen, heavy bubble action upon pour that, if you leave it alone, will result in a rootbeer float like head; Taste: initial impression is a good sour that you expect, but, after the initial impression, you start to kind of taste a sort of subtle apple cidery flavour, this is my 2nd bottle of this brew, and, maybe I’m nuts, but this one tastes more watered down than the first one, I wonder how much variability there is bottle to bottle in this brew, anyone know?; Palate: a slight mouth watering sour, you can pull out the hops only in the aftertaste, in my opinion; Overall: this is my last bottle of this brew, I would have liked to have tried a couple more because I’m confused in that I liked the 1st bottle a lot more than the second, nonetheless, I’m becoming a big fan of sour ales, and for that reason, I am well pleased and will give this beer a good rating

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy brown with orange edging and a fairly thick khaki head that settles to a thick ring and film, leaving some dripping webby lace. Nose involves oak and apple cider vinegar, a hint of brown sugar. Somewhat sweet, quite tart, a bit bitter. Light bodied, very active, cleansing drying tartness on the tongue, finishing fairly lengthy with oak tartness. Pretty decent, not a lot of complexity, but it’s mostly agreeable and somewhat versatile.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Dark amber/orange color, thin frothy beige head, with some apparent lacing. Aroma shows through with some oak and berry. A slight sourness to the taste, earthy, some dryness to the end and a bubbly mouthful that quickly dissipates., but is nice.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Botella de 330ml. Copa Globo.
330ml bottle. Snifter glass. Deep reddish brown, mahogany tints to the light. Beige froth shows nice retention & lacing. Oak, sour berry & grape aromas, tartar hues & slight sweetness. Tartar/sourness, fruity & woody notes over toasted malts on the forefront. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Silky palate, dense to watery texture. As expected from aromas, harsh tartiness remains in the middle & lingers into the finish. Thankfully, toasted maltiness holds it, making it refreshing instead of bothering. Grape & wood on the aftertaste. Sometimes I wonder if it is a malty wine –just kidding!, it´s a good job & nice spot of the Style. Suggested pairing with heavy spiced cooked beef meat.
